Built for volunteers

Your board is three people with day jobs

Most HOA software is built for management companies and priced like it. HOA Grove is built for the treasurer running dues out of a spreadsheet and the secretary who still mails violation letters.

“Did the Hendersons pay?”

Dues live in a spreadsheet that one person maintains, cross-referenced against a bank statement once a quarter — if that.

Now: invoices generate on schedule and paid/unpaid is one glance.

“What did we approve last year?”

Architectural decisions and violation history leave with the board member who kept them in their inbox.

Now: every request and decision is numbered, filed and permanent.

“Where are the covenants?”

The same five questions get emailed to the board president every month, and the answer is a PDF attachment every time.

Now: residents self-serve documents, forms and answers.

Dues & Payments

Collect dues without chasing anybody

Set your assessment and your schedule once. HOA Grove invoices every property, emails the homeowner, accepts card and bank payments through Stripe, and shows you exactly who still owes.

  • Monthly, quarterly or annual collection
  • Card and US bank transfer (ACH), processed by Stripe
  • Autopay, so residents set it once and forget it
  • Payouts to your association’s own bank account

Violations & Architectural Review

Enforcement that leaves a record

File a violation with the photo attached and the homeowner is notified automatically. Architectural requests arrive with drawings, get discussed by the committee, and end in a decision anybody can look up years later.

  • Your own violation and ARC categories
  • Photos, plans and documents attached to the record
  • Comment threads so the reasoning is preserved
  • Numbered per community and tied to the property

Community site

The community website you never got around to

Every member gets a real home page: the latest news, the upcoming calendar, the document library and the answers to the questions they were about to email you about.

  • Announcements that email members automatically
  • Shared calendar for meetings, events and bookings
  • Documents, forms and useful links, organized
  • Passwordless magic-link sign-in for residents

AI Assistant

Answer the same question for the last time

Turn on the AI Assistant and residents can ask what the fence rules are, when the next board meeting is, or where the pool key form lives — and get an answer drawn from your community’s own posts, events, FAQs and documents.

Pricing that doesn’t punish growth

Most HOA software bills you per door

Which means the bigger your community gets, the more you pay for the same software. HOA Grove charges one flat price, whether you have 12 homes or 1,200.

Monthly cost by community size
Community size PayHOA HOA Grove
50 homes $59/mo $14.99/mo
150 homes $129/mo $14.99/mo
400 homes $229/mo $14.99/mo

PayHOA’s published self-managed pricing as of August 2026, billed yearly. Go and check it — the point is not the exact figure, it is that theirs moves with your door count and ours does not.

Every feature is included at both price points. The only difference between our two plans is the AI assistant. Compare plans →

Getting started

Live before your next board meeting

No implementation project, no onboarding call you have to schedule three weeks out.

  1. 1

    Create your community

Name your association and add your address list — or email it to us in whatever shape it is in and we will load the properties for you, at no charge. The trial starts immediately: no card, no sales call.

  2. 2

    Upload documents, invite residents

Drop in your covenants and forms, then share one invite link. Residents sign themselves up with a magic link — no passwords to manage.

  3. 3

    Connect Stripe and collect

Connect the association’s bank account through Stripe, set your assessment, and the first invoices generate on schedule.

Questions boards ask

Still stuck? Email support@hoagrove.com. Support is included at no extra charge, on both plans.

Is it really one price for the whole community?

Yes. $14.99 a month covers your entire community — every home, every resident, every board member and every feature. There is no per-unit charge, no per-admin seat and no setup fee.

Do you take a percentage of our dues?

No. Your community connects its own Stripe account, and dues are paid out to your association’s bank account. Stripe charges its standard processing fees; HOA Grove takes nothing on top.

How do residents log in?

With a passwordless magic link emailed to them. Nothing for a homeowner to forget and nothing for a volunteer board to reset.

Does HOA Grove do accounting?

HOA Grove handles dues invoicing, collection and payment records, and exports a payment period to a spreadsheet for your bookkeeper. It is not a general ledger — communities that need full double-entry accounting keep using their existing books alongside it.

What happens after the 30-day trial?

You pick a plan and enter payment details when you are ready. Because we never took a card up front, nothing charges automatically at the end of the trial.

Can we cancel?

Any time, from your own billing settings — no phone call, no retention conversation. There is no annual contract to get out of.

We use a management company. Does that work?

Yes — a management company can hold several communities under one roof, each with its own members, dues, documents and Stripe account. See HOA Grove for property managers.

Is our data secure?

Every community’s data is scoped to that community, payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us, and sign-in is passwordless. More detail on the security page.

Give your board its evenings back

Set up your community in an afternoon. Thirty days, commitment free — no credit card, no onboarding call, no contract.
